GASTRONOMY.

When it comes to gastronomy, the Midi-Pyrénées region has many similarities with the Aquitaine concerning the base products (duck, goose, truffles, wild mushrooms) although recipes will differ from town to town and there can be no doubt that we are still in cassoulet country here.

It will come as no surprise to you that the region also produces its own specific wines of which Gaillac, Madiran, Cahors, Côtes de Saint Mont, Marcillac and Fronton are probably the best known and definately merit a little more attention.
